Fred Nardin simply defines this project “as an echo of the great trios of my dreams, such as those of Nat King Cole and Oscar Peterson.” The project lives up to the challenge. This is a jazz that, although young, maintains the memory of its roots: swing and sense of the blues... It includes standards but also has some personal songs that have been arranged especially for this band... In perfect osmosis, it delivers an elegant and intimate music, where the compositions of the pianist and the guitarist mingle with standards by Duke Ellington and George Gershwin.
