The new project of the Alex Freiman Quartet springs from the roots of American music. Jazz, of course, but also soul, gospel, and rhythm’n’blues have always been a source of inspiration for this eclectic and original musician. His improvisations are inhabited by the memory of musicians like Grant Green, Ray Charles, and Miles Davis—thanks to whom he has found his own voice. For this project, Alex Freiman composes, arranges, sings, and improvises. It all comes together in a natural way to create music that resembles him: sincere, passionate, and spiritual.
